Routines to the Rescue: How Simple Routines Can Help Increase Independence

Research shows that when children learn independence early on, their potential to thrive later in life increases. But children with special needs often require more help learning living skills than their typically developing peers. How can you give them the best chance for success? The answer is consistency. This seminar will show you how to create defined, easy-to-follow routines in your child’s life, so he or she can achieve greater independence.

This seminar will cover:
– Teaching Routines to Your Child
– How to Break Down Routines to be Achievable
– Individual Question and Answer

Speaker:
John Park, MA, Program Supervisor, Gateway Learning Group
